I am aware that I am not qualified to claim that God should be like this or that. Instead, God alone has the authority to declare, “You should be like this and that.” I’m only stating some of these requirements to demonstrate the greatness of our God.
- God must be alive. It is pointless to believe in a God who is not living. The God of the Bible was, is, and will always be alive.
- The creator’s character must be supreme. There may be gods (demons or spirits) with bad character, but they are either false creators or wicked gods. Evil spirits desire to be worshiped as God, and they deceive humans by luring them with wonderful things. The character of God in the Bible is paramount. (For example, other gods advocate lying; some even tell lies and steal, but the God of the Bible does not.)
- The demonstration of God’s love must be unparalleled. If a man can demonstrate more love than God, how can God be considered supreme? The God of the Bible devoted his life to the salvation of mankind. This is something no other deity has done. Earthly parents can demonstrate greater love than other deities.
- The Creator must be fair to everyone, even to Satan. The God of the Bible treats Satan with such fairness that I have never seen in any other so-called god. Some gods try to use their power to make false promises of heaven but fail to keep them; many do not even guarantee heaven. The God of the Bible prioritizes justice above strength; he brings his children into heaven from hell justly, not by using only power. That is why Jesus paid the price; no other deity is willing to pay the sacrifice since they do not represent the truly loving God.
- A true God does something before telling others to do the same. The God of the Bible is a triune God. Thats how he lives in unity and encourages people to live in unity; God himself serves and wants us to serve one another; He sacrifices his life and asks us to do so; He does not speak lies and forbids us from telling. He does not do adultery and forbids us to do so. I haven’t found these characteristics in any other God outside the Bible.
- God speaks personally to individuals as his children. A caring father talks directly with his child. What sort of father or guardian is a god who doesn’t speak personally with his children? The God of the Bible communicated and continues to communicate personally. ** Some may argue that he does not do it at this age. The statement isn’t found in the Bible. If someone claims that God does not communicate today, he may be placing his own ideologies or other philosophies into the Bible. So we can say that God is still speaking, but we are focusing wrongly and not being able to understand him.
- A trustworthy God does not leave his children confused about heaven. What type of guardian is he if he makes his child feel uncertain about entering the home? The God of the Bible does not leave his children in doubt regarding heaven. Through Jesus, He ensures His children’s entrance into heaven. So, as God’s children, we can enter heaven freely. Accepting the father’s generosity is enough to get oneself into his own family; no merit is required. First, through Jesus, we enter heaven and then do good works.
- Because of His unfailing love, God sees his people as his children. The God of Hate considers people as slaves only and wishes to keep them bound by law. The God of supreme love is not like that. He gave us the authority to be his children, and now he wants us to be his slaves willingly, just like Jesus did.
- In humility, a God of love serves as both master and servant. The God of the Bible showed both mastery and servitude. The wicked god just demonstrates authority; he is proud of his power but does not wish to be a slave himself.
- The true God will not tolerate being trapped in deception because He desires the well-being of human beings. The false god desires suffering for humans, so he wishes to trap them in the deception. Such deities of lies misguided people to be stuck in their old false beliefs. They argue that even if ancestral ideas are wrong, it is best to hold on to them. Even if they believe in lies, it is better to stick with the old family than to go with the truth. But if a deity is a liar, can we believe that deity when he says it is best to practice ancestral religion?
- The true God will ask you to do good with the goods of this world. A false God will either ask you to utilize the goods of this world for your personal gain, to be absolutely apathetic, or to be purely opportunistic. That is not how God is described in the Bible.
- As a creator, he must be unborn and infinite in nature. Jesus was unborn as God but willingly limited his power and became human. (Trinity will be simply explained in my next book.)
I am unwilling to recognize anyone as a creator or genuine God until the preceding requirements are satisfied. The true God’s standard is greater than these, which I have written above. But based on these few criteria, I can conclude that whoever has those criteria is indeed a good god, and if any deity does not fulfill all of those requirements, he is a false god. A single requirement cannot be taken away from a good God.
** If someone could present a more alive, ideal, and fairer God than the God of the Bible, I believe God would respond, ‘That god is greater than me; you obey him’. Our God is so wonderful. If you can show me a God who is superior to this God, why should I reject your god? Can you direct me to someone better than the God of the Bible? Then I’ll agree to accept him and promise to proclaim that God to the whole world. I am confident that the God of the Bible would agree with me in this case.
Because I embraced Jesus as my savior, I am certain that heaven is my final destination. I do not do good works in order to go to heaven; I do good works for the benefit of others out of thankfulness to God. I avoid sin and preach the gospel for this reason too.
Do you desire salvation through Jesus? Do you want to go to heaven? So, what should you do?
Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. (Acts 16:30-31 – KJV)
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (Romans 10:9- KJV)
If you want to go to heaven, you won’t need anything from humans. Everything you need to do is:
- Believe in your heart that Jesus is the Savior and Lord. He died for you and rose again to redeem you from sin.
- Confess before God that you have accepted Jesus as your savior.
If you do these things with faith in your heart, you will be saved according to God’s word. You have an entry visa to heaven. By God’s grace, the road to heaven is simple; anybody can become a citizen of heaven for free, but it is difficult to live as a citizen of heaven in this world. To become a good citizen of heaven like Jesus, you can now try to connect with any spiritually mature Christian individuals around you.
Nobody knows when I or you will die, so please check with your God and take the opportunity to go to heaven while there is still time.
Some last words:
Are you the child of your parents by doing good deeds? The answer will be “no.”. Good deeds or bad deeds, whatever you do, you are your parents child because of your blood connection. We do not become children because of our work, but because of our blood connections. Likewise, we are not children of God because of good works but because of a spiritual relationship through Jesus. We are children of God due to our spiritual relationship, and that’s how, as children, we are going to heaven. No qualification is required to be a child, but qualification is required to be a disciple. We are not worthy of heaven because of sin, and Jesus made us worthy through his sacrifice. We are not going to heaven for our work, but for the work that Jesus has done for us. Salvation toward God is free, but the consequences of sins in this world will not be vanished by Jesus; we need to pay that bill on this earth. Jesus will pay for heaven, but he will not pay everything for this earth.
There’s still a chance—have you accepted Jesus?
God wants you, even if you are an atheist. I hope to come up with something for you one day too. But if you are willing to put aside your pride completely, I believe the Lord Jesus will come to you too. Do not boast to men, but keep your heart in secret. Decide that you will not make excuses with scientific or emotional reasons when Jesus guides you. If necessary, ask for proof from Jesus two or three times with a pure heart and be open; he will guide you to the truth.
A prayer:
I want to pray to God Almighty for you. I pray that God may give you some evidence or proof that he is the truth, and guide you to heaven in Jesus name.
If you are ready to accept Jesus as your savior, please say this from your heart and with your mouth.
Jesus, I believe you came to earth to save me from sin. I believe you died for my sin and rose from the dead, defeating it. I receive you as my savior and lord. Thank you for giving me a chance to be a child of God and a chance to go to heaven. That’s it. If you believe from your heart what you have said, You are a child of God now and will go to heaven. Now, when you are ready, take a water baptism from a pastor nearby, and do not commit any sins as a citizen of heaven. God loves you a lot.
Special Note-
By quoting the Bible, some say that only faith in Jesus is not enough for salvation; we also need to add work. Some say only faith is not enough, but water baptism is also needed. Some say that we can lose our salvation in heaven. Some say that without following the law, we cannot go to heaven. Some say not everybody who proclaims Jesus as Lord will go to heaven.
There are some verses in the Bible in which, at first glance, it seems like only faith in Jesus is not enough. But actually, does it really mean that?
Someday, we will try to explain those things simply. We try to follow some guidelines for interpreting the Bible. Some of the guidelines are as follows:
1) Interpretation must align with the Bible text.
2) Interpretation must align with God’s character and nature.
3) We must interpret unclear verse in light of clear verse. (e.g., “faith without work is dead”) is an unclear verse that never says that those who have dead faith will go to hell. But the clear verse is that salvation is God’s gift, and it cannot be earned by work. So in light of this clear verse, we need to interpret that faith without work is dead.
So be with Jesus, and thank you for your valuable time.
